The church of San Pietro in Castello, built in the Romanesque style, now deconsecrated, it is located in the city of Ascoli Piceno. It stands on a small cliff located between Piazza Ventidius Basso and Solestà door opposite the Roman bridge. This church is considered by Giambattista Carducci’s “ancient sacred monument Ascoli”.
