Cloister of St. Francis Minor

Minor cloister of San Francesco, with the cloister Maggiore , belongs to the complex of the church of St. Francis of Ascoli Piceno in the Marche.
Unlike the Cloister Maggiore, which is against the wall to the left of the church, the minor is now the courtyard of a modern building with entrance in Via Ceci.
This cloister dates from the fourteenth century and is characterized by two floors of galleries with arches carried by polygonal columns. At the center of the courtyard there is a well that, in the true, reports chiselled crest of Ascoli and the name of the donor.
